All things sheep…

Our Hudson Valley flock is humanely raised on our Gardiner, NY pastures.
We manage our farm without synthetic pesticides or fertilizers, practice rotational grazing, and feed organic grain.

Our pasture-raised lamb

Our most abundant selection of lamb is now available! (Fall 2024) Find what you’re looking for at our Farm Store or one of our farmers’ markets.

We carry loin chops, top round roasts, Frenched racks, shanks, ground lamb, stew meat, organs, and a limited number of shoulder roasts and leg of lamb. We also offer different kinds of lamb sausage. All cuts are frozen.

Our skilled local butchers craft beautiful roasts and sausages that are perfect for a holiday meal or a cozy night’s supper. We’re proud to graze our lambs on pasture during the growing season, which results in a clean, mild flavor.

Sheepskins from our flock

New sheepskins in stock now! Come to our Farm Store or one of our farmers’ markets to select your perfect sheepskin. They are $285 + tax (small), $325 + tax (large), and $450 + tax (extra large).

Our sheepskins are a beautiful gift for a baby shower, housewarming, or graduation—or buy one for yourself! We’ve known a few pets who love them, too. The sheepskins are easy to clean by hand and will last many years. They are tanned at Vermont Natural Tannery, without synthetic chemicals.

Handwoven wool blankets & scarves

It’s November 2024 and our wool throws and scarves are here, beautiful and finely crafted as always. Send us an email to reserve yours and schedule a pickup time.

Made with 100% wool from our dairy flock, our natural ‘throws’ and winter scarves are hand-loomed by Lilly Marsh, a studio weaver in the Adirondacks.

Our wool blankets
These are "throws" -- approx. 56" x 36" -- designed to throw over your lap when you want to feel warm and cozy, or to wrap around your shoulders. The dark blue is natural dye from the indigo plant. Each throw is $425 plus tax, and we can provide a gift box.

Our wool scarves
These outdoor scarves are made of medium-weight wool and tightly woven in a lace pattern. We chose a sky-blue dye that matches our Willow Pond logo. We only have 30 scarves available so reserve one now. Each scarf is $110 plus tax and approx. 80" x 10" (a standard scarf length).

Our sheep’s milk yogurt

Bottled in beautiful 7.8-oz. and 15.5-oz. glass jars, our plain yogurt is made with milk from our pasture-raised East Friesian/Lacaune ewes. We pasteurize the milk, add cultures, then bottle and set the yogurt in our own farmstead creamery.

The yogurt is mild, full-fat, exceptionally creamy, and high in protein. It can be enjoyed plain or with honey, fruit, or nuts. It’s a delicious alternative to cow yogurt.

Available May-October

Our bottled sheep’s milk

This is 100% pure sheep’s milk, gently pasteurized and bottled in glass quarts at our farmstead creamery. It’s a rare find! Sheep’s milk is unique for its creamy, rich qualities — the taste is mild but the milk is sumptuous and filling. Use it however you use milk (it’s particularly good in coffee or tea). Perfect for folks with an intolerance to cow’s milk.

Available May-September
